Growing up, my sister and I frequently played the game “Huckle Buckle Beanstalk” with our grandfather to pass the time and to keep us entertained. One player would hide a common object (in our case, an old spoon) and the other players would seek it out, according to “hot” or “cold” prompts.  The seeker would shout “huckle buckle beanstalk” once he or she found the spoon, and then be deemed the winner of that particular round. It just so happens that this same grandfather was an avid treasure collector, artist, and creative spirit. He must have passed these traits onto his daughters and grandchildren, because here we are today…still carrying on, searching for projects, ideas, antiques/junk, and novelties with a story. In fact, we’ve been known to shout “huckle buckle beanstalk” in our adult years whenever we find treasures for our home. Hence, the premise of this site and our studio. It is our hope that this place will become a found treasure for those who are seeking a creative dose of homespun inspiration, salvaged furniture, and practical ideas for their home’s décor.
